This generation of the Volkswagen Golf (Mk4) was produced by the German manufacturer Volkswagen between 1997 - 2006. It's a front engined car with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and came as either a hatchback or estate. There are many power levels available, ranging from a 67 BHP 1.9 L Inline 4 diesel engine all the way to a 238 BHP 2.8 L V6 petrol engine. It has macpherson strut front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension. However, some models have multi-link rear suspension.
