This generation of the Renault R5 was produced by the French manufacturer Renault between 1972 - 1984. It's a front mid engined Hatchback with either front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive and came with either 3 or 5 doors. There are many power levels available from either a 0.8 L Inline 4 petrol engine or 1.4 L Inline 4 Turbo petrol engine. It has macpherson strut front suspension and trailing-arm rear suspension. However, some models have double wishbone suspension front and rear.
