This generation of the Alpina 5 Series (E39) was produced by the German manufacturer Alpina between 1995 - 2004. It's a front engined rear-wheel drive car and came as either a saloon or estate. There are many power levels available, ranging from a 235 BHP 2.9 L Inline 6 Bi-Turbo diesel engine to a 370 BHP 4.6 L V8 petrol engine. It has macpherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension.
